Borrow a Brain
“Borrowing a brain” means getting support from someone else when you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Whether it’s for accountability or emotional help, having someone by your side can boost your focus and calm.
What, Why, How
We focus on understanding what needs attention, why it matters, and how to approach it in an ADHD-friendly way. This method brings clarity and keeps you moving forward with purpose.
Growth vs. Fixed Mindset
A growth mindset believes that you can improve with effort, while a fixed mindset sees abilities as unchangeable. This program fosters a growth mindset, helping you turn challenges into opportunities for progress.
Neuroplasticity
Neuroplasticity is the brain’s ability to change and grow. This program taps into that, helping you create new, positive habits and thought patterns to better manage ADHD.
What Color Is Your Energy?
Your energy shifts in different ways. By understanding when you’re most productive and when you need rest, you’ll learn to balance your tasks and take advantage of your natural energy rhythms.

Our evaluations are thoughtfully designed for three groups: (1) Adults, (2) Parents assessing their child or teen, and (3) Middle schoolers through high schoolers, where both parents and preteens/teens participate. We’ll engage in a warm and welcoming dialogue about you—your likes, dislikes, hobbies, and dreams! Think of it as a friendly chat, but with a bit more focus (pun intended). Through targeted questions, we’ll explore your life and history with possible ADHD, while also considering other explanations for attention challenges, such as depression or anxiety. Together, we’ll dive into your current needs around focus, distractibility, time management, organization, prioritization, and emotional experiences in various areas of your life—school, home, work, and relationships. Regardless of the outcome, you’ll receive personalized recommendations, whether through this program or referrals. Many participants find this experience not only rewarding but also empowering, leaving with a sense of confidence and excitement for next steps!!

What truly sets this program apart is its founder, Dr. Julie Hartman. With 20 years of experience specializing in ADHD across all ages and settings, she recognized a gap in the existing professional and public training, which inspired her to create this innovative program. It begins with what she has coined ComprendMe™ ADHD Literacy—a foundational understanding of the intricacies of how one’s own ADHD brain ticks. Without this intimate knowledge, the strategies we share often fall flat. Once participants have built this essential groundwork, we seamlessly integrate CBTa™ and BrainScript™ to enhance the psychology and neurology of ADHD, providing the freedom from limitations that many ADHDers experience. Unlike other programs that present a laundry list of “skills, tools, and strategies” that often don’t stick, we focus on deep, meaningful growth from the inside out. Our goal is to create a transformative experience that truly resonates, empowering you or your child to embrace and love their ADHD!

One of the things I truly love about ADHD is that every ADHD brain is unique—there’s no one-size-fits-all approach! This means there isn’t a single answer to how long it takes to see progress. However, I’ve consistently noticed that when participants are engaged and actively participate in each session or group, they often start noticing improvements after about six sessions. For parents, bringing these strategies home can lead to immediate shifts, as if their child has been ready and willing all along!
What’s important to note is that everything in this program is specifically designed for the ADHD brain, not the traditional approach that often overlooks our unique needs. We skip the long lectures and dive into hands-on exercises, interactive discussions, and engaging videos. Yes, everyone might zone out occasionally, but our materials are crafted to draw you back in, ensuring you pick up at least one sticky lesson per session. The exact timeline will depend on your personal goals and commitment, but rest assured, those small wins can quickly add up to meaningful change! I’m excited to support you on this journey!

I offer clear and flexible pricing options to fit different needs and schedules. Rates vary depending on the type of service you’re seeking:
- Individual sessions ($400/45-minutes)
-Evaluations ($500/45-minutes
-Group therapy classes ($80/hour session.
I believe in transparency and all policies regarding cancellations, rescheduling, and payments will be clearly outlined in the forms you'll complete when you begin, ensuring that there are no surprises. As for insurance, none of these programs are in-network, whether it's individual therapy, evaluations or group work. The HIPAA-encrypted billing system I use sends out a superbill at the end of the month for participants to submit for whatever reimbursement their insurance allows. I offer a more accessible $80/session price point for groups but be sure to join my email list for updates on free and low-cost webinars I regularly offer.
