Let’s break the mold and start making big things happen when ADHD works for you!

My Approach

A New Way to See ADHD

ADHD is often misunderstood, and traditional methods rarely address the unique needs of an ADHD brain. You can’t simply apply strategies and skills to ADHD and expect results. My approach begins with a deep understanding of the ADHD brain and psychology, focusing first on creating a healthy awareness of how each person’s unique ADHD works.

  • Once we’ve established clarity on the ADHD brain, we introduce tools, skills, strategies, systems, and accommodations. These must align with the individual’s values and natural brain rhythms to be effective. This foundation ensures that any new approach is built to last and truly supports the person’s daily life.

  • My signature programs, such as BrainScript™, CBTa™, and ComprendMe™, are not about ‘fixing’ ADHD. Instead, they help people grow by living their ADHD synapses, specialties and sensitivities.

Expected benefits include improved focus, emotional ease, confident, self-acceptance, and a sense of belonging without conforming to societal expectations.

  • The first focus is on shedding outdated biases, reshaping self-criticism into positive self-esteem, and clarifying identity.

ADHD isn’t a flaw—it’s often the best part a person.

Once this groundwork is laid, the practical tools and strategies become more effective and meaningful.

  • This approach is powerful and dynamic.

Clients consistently express how good it feels to regain control and build success on their own terms, prospering as yourself.
It’s not about fitting into a mold—it’s about fitting into who YOU are in the skillful way you were never taught.

My background

Innovator in
ADHD Understanding
and Transformation

  • Over the years, I’ve worked with thousands of individuals and families, helping them understand ADHD, build new mindsets, and create lives that work with their brains, not against them.
My journey began in 1996 at UC Berkeley, where I participated in the first national study on treatment modalities for children with ADHD. The First one! I feel proud of that. See study here.

  • My experience spans prestigious institutions like Stanford, UCSF, California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC), and San Francisco General Hospital (SFGH), as well as working at a residential facility for troubled youth.

Early on, I took the initiative to learn about ADHD independently, as professional training was scarce at the time. I immersed myself in schools, observing children, attending teacher meetings, and advocating for necessary accommodations.

Through these efforts, I recognized the high prevalence of ADHD and how often it went dismissed or undiagnosed.

  • Despite media claims of overdiagnosis, I’ve found that ADHD is underdiagnosed.

My work with children, teens, parents and adults has shown that ADHD affects around 1 in 4, not the commonly reported 1 in 20. See abc article. The underreporting stems from the stigma and misconceptions surrounding ADHD, which cause individuals to do “masking”.

This is a representation of how marginalized and underserved we are as a community in the current society. I hope you will join me to spread awareness that all brains belong.

My clinical expertise, combined with teacher and parent interviews, consistently reveals a higher prevalence than the statistics suggest.

  • Half of my practice has been devoted to adults, many of whom have spent their lives misunderstood and undiagnosed.

The advocacy I’ve had to provide—convincing family members, partners, and other professionals that ADHD isn’t about laziness or immaturity—has been a major part of my work.

With my personal and professional experience with ADHD, I’m 100% convinced—there’s nothing wrong with us. Radical, right? I offer a fresh approach to ADHD, backed by recent research and insights from industries that respect neurodiversity.
My programs help shed layers of harmful conditioning, revealing confident, dynamic, and successful individuals underneath.

  • My passion is making ADHD knowledge practical and impactful, grounded in neuroscience and psychology. I believe the conventional understanding of ADHD is wrong.

My focus is on creating solutions tailored to how each ADHD brain truly function, offering insights that go beyond traditional methods.

  • This work is deeply personal to me. Not only have I spent decades studying ADHD, but I also live it—as a professional, a person, and a parent of an ADHD child.

The strategies I offer have been refined through thousands of clients and have proven to create lasting change.

ADHD isn’t about deficits, impairments, or weaknesses—it’s a unique brain style that contributes to the advancement of every industry and the success of humanity.
We can work together to say goodbye to stigma and misconceptions, and making our lives meaningful because of ADHD.

Imagine the difference we can make!
